This was the second time we've used Atlanta Pet Resort. The first time was only for a few hours, and we had no problems with them. We left our 2 dogs again for 5 days. When we picked them up, the staff handed us their dog beds filthy and with the covers off. One of our dogs had severe diarrhea for 3 days after she came home. The other, who is pretty resilient to everything, has seemed frightened since we've brought her home (over a week) and not her normal self at all. We have left them for longer periods of time at different places, and I have never seen them act this way. I'm not sure what happened while they were there, but I know it definitely was not pleasant or comfortable. We also didn't realize until the day we had to drop them off, that they don't even take your dogs out of the concrete run at all, unless you pay extra for 15 minutes of playtime with other dogs. We of course paid for the playtime, since we didn't want them locked in the run all week. We will never take them there again.

We always have fears when leaving our pet anywhere, but let me tell you about The Atlanta Pet Resort,Inc. I drive by there on my way to and from work every day and more often than not, there are dogs and people out in their play areas running around having fun almost every time that I drive by. I decided to stop in for a surprise inspection one morning and they more than willing to accomodate me. They showed me all over the resort and I was pleasantly surprised to not smell, well ... a stench like some other kennels that I have visited. The manager took me on about a 10 minute tour and one of the owners was there too and he stopped to talk to me as well. They were all so nice. Needless to say, I was convinced that I should leave my lab Rufus with them for a week while I went to Florida. Rufus must have had a great time. He is somewhat needy with us, but when we picked him up, he didn't want to leave. He was as happy to see us as he was with the people at The Atlanta Pet Resort. We will definitely use them again.
